Something concerning the educational discount.

Dear all,

I am visiting LA in 2 days and i wanted to know if i show up my Dubai University ID Card in the Apple store while purchasing a MBPr, will i be able to get the discount they offer? Do they apply it on international students?

I would imagine they would give you the discount but if you hear other wise you should still go in and ask there's no harm in doing so.

It sounds like you might have some luck doing this but that the official policy is that you need to be a student in the U.S.

For what it's worth, no one ever checks my ID. I just tell them I'm studying at so-and-so university (which is true).
