Something funny about signal loss

Do you guys find it a bit strange the Iphone 4 and OS4 is struggling so badly to get a good reliable signal all of the time? And it's still not fixed???? 3.1.3 worked like a charm for me, then we have signal problems 4.0 , 4.0.1, 4.1??? I also know the AT&T network is overloaded and needs billions of dollars in upgrades. Is it possible Apple made the Iphone 4 and OS 4 where the signal is weaker to save AT&T??? Can AT&T networks handle all of it's Iphones running at tip top speeds?

No, in 4.0.1 Apple redid how the signal bars are shown. The signal levels are the same. With the 3Gs having better signal levels then the 4, keep this in mind; the iPhone is still be adjusted. Where as the 3Gs uses the same cellular parts as the 3G. Thus, making is have one more year of experience when it can out.
