On one of my Macs of course
Aloha everyone,

I checked my email this morning and found out that Apple, apparently, made a 14" iBook from the "same material used in bulletproof glass". I don't think an iBook of these specs ever actually existed, but I made the switch in 2006, after the Intel transition, so I'm not so sure. And yes, I get spam on my Road Runner email account, but I thought this one was a gas.

I'm pretty certain it is true, it was made from a polycarbonate resin material.

i'm going to agree with you. i'm sure it was as well.
weren't there also tests of it being run over and dropped too?

cant find links at the moment though.

The original iBooks were composed of strong frames and bulletproof plastics.

The snow/white iBooks supposedly were, but they couldn't hold up to abuse anywhere near the original iBooks.
