So ive been a Macbook owner for about 3 years now, and about three days ago I tried to burn a disc for my neighbor. When i tried to insert the disc into my superdrive it wouldnt fit. Not that the disc was too big or anything, it just wouldnt go in. When i inserted a very tiny tool it feels like something is in my disc drive vertically and is just stuck there. I dont know if its actually part of the drive or something that got in there. If anyone has any knowledge about this or has any ideas on what i could try to do about this i would be truly grateful. Thanks

thank you!

I got it working but i had to do a little of both of the fixes in that thread for a disc to go into the drive. But i am afraid the drive is making weird noises so i think i am going to have to swap it out for a new one...but for the temporary fix it works fine.

Thanks everyone!
