$2,900 actually isn't that bad. My own HD projector cost more than 2x that. If it had a BR player, and an HD projector, I might consider dumping my fiance and buying one.

Though, if Nikko actually sells any of these; Lucas will sue within a matter of months... mark my word.

They could be licensed by Lucasfilm to build them. It wouldn't surprise me in the least given that there will be an increasing level of Star Wars merchandise to coincide with the coming Star Wars TV series.

The R2 projector is cool, but it would need to be HD at a minimum. A Blu-ray player would be a huge plus.

I want one... doubt the wife would approve though...

they mention it has connections for video game systems, where do I mount the Wii sensor bar?

It appears to "©2007 Lucasfilm Ltd." on the plate on the back, so I'm going to assume that it is indeed licensed.

I like the R2-D2 wireless webcam too. :D

I....Want.....5 of them! :D

What a great idea. So many media controls too. Given it's PC connections, that could be one hell of a way to give a presentation: Drive R2 into the room and have it play the presentation, then roll right out the door again!

Awesome!

A bit bigger, with a cooler inside for half a dozen beers and I'd be tempted... A remote control fridge. Could life be any better?

I wish I had the room for it!

That's just too cool. Sadly the kids would probably end up trying to ride it around the house and destroy it! LOL
