Well,i ll start with a story-my cousin went to Italy as a tourist.while he was there, his phone died.he went to local cell phone shop and asked for a phone that "will work in Russia".and the seller gave him iPhone 3G and told him that it will work.and, guess what,it really WORKS!without any jailbreak!!!i was shocked!appstore works and it sync's with iTunes without any problem and updates properly!I AM SHOCKED!how is this possible?can someone explain?thx

P.S.he bought 8gb for 300 euro.not bad,h@h?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5B108 Safari/525.20)

if Russia has GSM it will work there. Nothing amazing about that. It's called roaming

we used russian sim card.

do you know what other countries sell unlocked iphone?thx
