Hi

When I power up my MacBook Pro (running Lion) once the desktop appears theres a window that pops up and closes really quickly. So quickly that I can't see what it is so that I can try to stop it.

I've checked the Login Items list and theres nothing in that.

Anyone know of any logs that I can look at to see what it might be?

My machine still starts up and shuts down much, much slower under lion. Could this possibly be the reason? If not, does anyone have any ideas about that too?

Many thanks

Thanks.

Theres things that mention VirtualBox, Facebook and Steam amongst others.

Can these be deleted or should I leave them?
You can delete anything you don't want to automatically launch at startup. The less you have launching, the faster your startup will be.

Kool, so by deleting things in that folder, all I'm doing is preventing them from loading at startup?

It's not going to effect anything else?
