Hello,
My thirteen-year-old jammed an index card through the edge of the trackpad and then under the trackpad of my macbook pro. I can move the mouse with the trackpad, but I can no longer click. Fortunately, the "ignore trackpad input when mouse is plugged in" box was checked in system preferences, so I still have control of the computer, but occasionally the button on the mouse I have plugged in stops working. There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to when.
Is there any way to totally disable the trackpad click so that I can use the mouse without interruption, and is there any way I can remove the index card by opening up the computer because it will be a while before I can take the computer to the repair shop.
Thanks!
