Something to keep in mind while pre ordering iPhone X

Those 2 together are a perfect recipe for a massive back order of the new oled iPhone X , when you are not able to succeed your pre order on Oct 27th at 00.00hrs when millions and millions of people are going online at the same time (instead of waves with earlier iPhone launches)

It wouldn't suprise me we gonna see a rehersal of the jetblack iPhone 7 and AirPods from last year. Those were massive backordered and the AirPods even after 4 or 5 months after the launch.

I would say shipping times of at least 10 to 14 weeks if you dont get your pre order in within 3 seconds after the pre orders start. (well at least, you then can enjoy your iPhone X for about 6 months before Apple announces the new 2018 iPhone X 2nd gen )

I estimate, is if somebody doesn't have their pre-order in under three minutes, it's going to be a very long wait until they receive their iPhone X. So hopefully Apple has enough time to meet production needs by the time shipping starts on November 3.

I'm sure demand will outstrip supply no matter how many are available. Waiting times might be less than with some other products you mention given the price and the fact the iPhone 8 is released.

But who knows.
