I was looking at iMacs today at the online Apple store, and wondered what was going on with this?

Ummmm, I would certainly say so. haha. Hey, maybe they are doing a silent upgrade to them? Slight speed bumps, memory bumps and whatnot. :p

EDIT: Actually ALL the product pages are jacked... >.>
