Sometime I get push notification sometimes I dont...

I noticed that sometime I get Facebook notifications and other times I do not. I have a friend who mentioned the same thing was happening to him and upon checking he had all the push settings setup etc.

Is this just a buggy feature or how can I fix this?

It's Facebook's fault. I haven't seen these things work 100% since 3.1 honestly. Last year Joe Hewitt left the dev team at FB and since then this app has been lagging behind a lot.
