Sometimes calls or messages won't vibrate my watch. Thoughts?

Wondering why it might be. Phone is locked and in my bag, but some messages will just light up my watch. Not vibrate.

All settings are set to vibrate and notify... Possible bug?

Also: Is there a way to see missed calls while your watch was out of range? You get back, it auto pairs and it shows you "missed while away" type of thing.

My first Apple watch's haptic motor was so weak I could not feel it. Returned it for my 2nd AW and it worked great for about a week and the the haptic motor stopped working completely. My third watch has a very strong haptic motor even without prominent turn on and works perfectly!

May not be your problem, hope you get it sorted out.

I don't think that's my issue. I FEEL when my watch vibrates. I can honestly say, I think my watch sometimes doesn't receive that trigger, but gets the message.. The engine on this is definitely noticeable .

Have you tried rebooting your watch and phone. If that does not work try an un-pair and re-pair to see if that helps. Many have been surprised that the re-pair thing works for many problems.
