There some sites that use pop-ups as part of how they operate. Specifically, I'm selling some items on Audiogon and when I click a link to add pictures to my ad, nothing happens. If I use Firefox and click the same link, a new window opens and I'm able to select and upload my pictures. Also, my job has online video-based training where the videos open in new windows. I can't do this training using Safari. Even though the simple solution to my problem is to use Firefox when posting an ad to Audiogon or when doing my training, I'd like to know why popups are constantly blocked in Safari. I don't have "Block Pop-Up Windows" checked in Safari preferences. I don't have Safari Adblock installed (if that makes any difference). I just did a reset of Safari (made no difference). I do have Glims installed, but I have it set for "when a site tries to open a new window, let it open". I also have SafariStand installed, but can't find a setting that would block a pop-up.

I've done a search and honestly, the threads I've found where others have asked a similar question have just died with no resolution.

I'm open to any suggestions anyone might have. Thanks.
