Sometimes I get E-mails from years ago....

I go to check my mail and see that I have 3 unred ones, but I only have 2. So then I sort and see that there's an unread one from 2003? What gives, why does this happen? It's happened a few times and it's always spam. I'm just wondering how this happens.

simple fix, delete old emails, blimey 2003...why would you stil need it?

I do delete old E-mails and I never keep any of them unread. So it's wierd thata is happens. It only happens in yahoo mail. My other ones haven't had this happen.

That happens to me too. I just think its an email that was lost in the internet and it finally found the right person.

Or it's spam where they are forging header dates into the future or the past in order to get you to notice. If I send you a spam email dated 2029, then it will stay at the top of your list until then (if you have it sorted in reverse date order like most).

Not in the actual E-mail, it's yahoo that dates when it arrives, so either Yahoo mail didn't decide to show the email until now, or it took a really long to travel... I dunno.

I got an e-mail from facebook today saying a friend wrote on my wall so I went to check but couldn't find her. Double checked: E-mail was from June 2nd, so she was on the next page.

Ha.

Facebook'a emails are getting lost now or their server is cooky.
