sometimes iphone 4 takes longer to wake up

i've noticed recently my iphone takes a millisecond or two longer to wake up if it's been sitting locked for a long time. but if i wake it up a and lock it back and then proceed to wake the phone up again, then it seems instant right after i press the home button. i know a millisecond or two doesn't seem much but i thought it should be instant after pressing the home button. i've tried restoring and restoring as new phone and it still seems to happen

Any ideas?
