I listen to the “My Favourites” mix regularly while exercising. I quite look forward to Tuesdays when the mix is refreshed and I get new tracks which maybe I haven’t heard in a while.

Trouble is a track snuck into the mix about 8 weeks ago and refuses to leave. It’s Soft Cell’s Tainted Love / Where Did Our Love Go. I have a lot of 80s music in my library so no surprise it cropped up.

After a couple of weeks I realised that despite several Tuesdays passing that the song was still there so I started skipping it when it came up.

The following week it was still there so I told Siri I didn’t like the track. Siri said no problem.

The following week it was still there. “Hey Siri, I hate this track”. No problem, says Siri.

The following week it’s still there. This time I open the Music App on my iPhone and hit the dislike button.

Next Tuesday it’s still there. Now really hating the track I delete the song from my library and run a search to check it’s not hiding in any compilations. It can’t pop up in My Favourites if it’s not even in my library right?

This Tuesday there it is. All nine minutes and two seconds of hell of it sitting proudly at number six in the playlist.

Any bright ideas how I could possibly get rid of the bloody thing?
