iPod touch Song will not play on 2G Touch

So I have a few songs that will not play on my 2G. They will play on my computer in iTunes. The songs I have bought and the touch was registered under the same account. Plus its not with every song, just a few. I reauthorized the computer and touch, but nothing seems to work. I ever tried to re-synch the song. Nothing! Any ideas would help.

they are not in the ipod touchs music format you will have to convert them

I bought the songs through itunes and I tried to covert them to AAC but they are protect (of course). I really don't know why it will not play, other purchased songs work.
