I developed an App, Songasaurus, which has been in the app store for a few months now. I've been trying to think of ways to 'spread the word,' and I don't know why I didn't think to post here sooner. I got some initial press on Mashable and Scribbal (all positive), but I think since I didn't initially have Facebook/Twitter integration built in, I sort of shot myself in the foot during the initial hype period.
Songasaurus lets you connect to your friends to see what music is most popular, or most listened to or recently played within your network. The idea being if lots of your friends have a particular song, album or artist, then maybe you would like it too. You can see everyone's individual playcounts, ratings and skipcounts for each song. You may sample songs from within the app and then purchase them thru itunes (that's my revenue model, the app is free and there are no ads).
Anyhow, if any of you check it out, please let me know what you think. I am working on a design refresh for the next update. I'm also trying to get some artists involved to be featured profiles, as a means to promote their own music/their taste.
