Songbird crashing when installing plugins

Just decided to switch from iTunes to Songbird on my new MBP.

I go to install Songbird and choose to install various plugins as prompted.

Songbird starts up with the usual T&C etc, then crashes.

I decide to install again, but uncheck all the plugins... Songbird starts up fine, scans all my music - All good... So I decide to install a plugin from there - Last FM.

Bam - Crash.. So I reinstall again, and chose another plugin, thinking it may be just last FM... No go, it is still crashing with any plugin I install.

Any ideas?

MBP 2011, 15" 2.2Ghz, 8GB Ram, 10.6.7
