iPod touch Songs added last night are GONE?!?!

Anyone else experience this?

1G iPod Touch w/ 2.2 firmware.

I added a few tracks last night from my Mac. Totally DRM-free (these are my own created music tracks - meaning, I'm the artist). They are mixed down as MP3 from GarageBand 08.

I listened to 'em last night, no problem. The Touch never got shut off.... Now, this morning, they are completely missing.

I've never seen this before.

Any ideas?
