iPod Songs appear on playlist, but not on iPod...

When I update my iPod, certain songs will only appear in playlists, not under that artist's name. These songs were ripped from burnt cd's, so they have no album title. When I go to the artist on my iPod, it skips straight to the one song with an album title, and none of the others appear under the artists name.


What is going on with my Ipod? It's a three week old 5.5g 80gig. Using Windows XP, the newest iTunes update.
 
I seem to be having the same issue, don't suppose you could post any answer on my thread could you and I'll do the same for you.
