After a bad run with my iMac (HDD and Logic board had to be replaced, all up two weeks :( ) I would now like to put more songs on my iPod.
But alas, I dont have the songs on my HDD and I am pretty sure when I try to mount the ipod into iTunes it will try and formatt it, I do not have the time to put 10GB of music back on my computer.

So how do I get around this issue?

It should ask you if you want to associate your iPod with the computer. If you click "no" then you should be able to access the ipod preferences and change it over to "manually manage songs and playlists."

Then just head over and grab Senuti (it'sa freee!) and go for it.
