Songs not downloaded to iPhone 5 properly

I have synced my new iPhone 5 with a back up of my old iPhone and it all seems fine accept that some of the songs don't seem to have downloaded properly because they come up on my iPhone 5 but don't play and just skip to the next one. Is there a way that I can just wipe off the music on my iPhone 5 and then sync it back on again with iTunes?

Had the same issue restoring from my iCloud backup. Connect your iphone to iTunes, uncheck "sync music" then re sync.
