I plan on not renewing my .mac account in a few weeks and I got to thinking. All of my music purchased over the last few years from itunes was purchased using my .mac account. When that account is no longer used, will I still have to authorize those songs using that account name? Is there a way to change the account that those songs are attached to?

If I can't change the account those songs are attached to, will it be possible to authorize my computer to play songs from multiple accounts without having to authorize and deauthorize the computer depending on which song is playing? Boy, I hope that makes sense!

Thanks

Even if you don't renew your .mac account, it still serves as your Apple ID for Music Store and the AppleStore etc. You might want to try changing the associated e-mail address for your account when it nears expiry so you get your reciepts etc.

I tried changing it, but it wouldn't let me. I wonder if it will after it's expired?
