Here is a really irritating issue, please help.
I am playing music in the latest version of iTunes on latest v. of Leopard ...after a while the song stops for a millisecond and then picks up playing where it left off.
Later, I'll go back, assuming it was a corrupted download from Apple, and it plays fine??? But other songs now pause ( or hesitate or skip) and then continue. There seems to be no issue in the download.
Similarly, at times downloaded videos play smoothly then the same video plays hesitatingly... pauses, choppy, etc analogous to the song issue.
I have 2 gig RAM and all software are the latest updates on new iMac.
Took the machine into Apple store for 1 week of evaluation and no solution found. "Everything was checked out and is fine" I was told.
Is there any similar thread or thoughts on this problem. Could there be USB input issues? Quicktime settings to tinker with ?
I would appreciate any thoughts as to what to do.
