I've loaded iTunes Match, and have not downloaded any songs, but when I go check my iPhone on my laptop, it shows in grey that I still have 7 songs on my iPhone. There is no way to delete them either. How do I get rid of them?

Thanks!

I had this on my wifes Iphone 4.When it was plugged into itunes i clicked on music under her device and managed to delete them all off, which worked. Then i reloaded her music from the itunes library.

Mine is grey so I can't delete them. It's weird because I am signed up for iTunes Match.

I'm having this issue too - anyone found a way?

Music still appears on my phone, even with syncing disabled and match off.

The computer shows the phone as containing no music the iTunes on the phone shows my almost entire library.

Turning on match back on just downloads the incomplete library that's already on my phone - thus rendering match pointless.

I'm trying to avoid reseting my iPhone.
