Does anyone have any experience with Sonic Solutions old DVD authoring hardware either on the Mac or PC side?

They offered several systems for the Mac most of which I think we're OS 9 only. Some also worked under Windows.

I have some new in the box parts to a DVD Fusion system. I haven't tried to install it yet since I'm missing the SD-1000 interface / MPEG2 encoder board. I've seen them on eBay but I think my other problem will be lack of a software key. I might need to find a full system I order to ever get o e that works.

I know that a newer Mac or PC could probably do everything faster in software than the old stuff did with expensive hardware but I like playing with that type of old stuff. Part of it is getting previously really expensive stuff for next to nothing.

Are you still looking?

Are you still looking for info about the Sonic DVD Creator system? We own one and would like to sell it at very reasonable price.
