Sonnet Breakaway Puck RX560 or RC570

I have a 2018 mini. I’m hoping to downgrade to Mojave because I need to use a eGPU for work.

would you buy a used Sonnet Breakaway Puck Rx570 for $320 or would you buy a new Puck Rx 560 for $300?

I’m not gaming or doing anything wayyy too graphic intensive, but given everything, after researching and consulting with professionals I trust, it looks as if I need a minimal eGPU, but I don’t want the hassle of matching a box and card to ensure they’re Mac compatible with appropriate firmware and the like.

The 560 works fine with Catalina so unless you have other reasons there is no need to downgrade to Catalina.

I am running the 560 with my Mac Mini and it seems to work just fine. Please see https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/2-days-in-with-the-sonnet-egpx-breakaway-puck.2232877/ for my review after a few days. A week later it still works fine.
