Hello,

I have a sonnet echo 20 linked to a 144hz 4K monitor via HDMI. With my old iMac (mid 20 and still Intel based) I was able to get 120hz 4K even the fact that it is not officially supported. Now when I connect my new Mac book pro M4, I only get 60hz, wich is according to the specs.

I would like to buy a Thunderbolt4 to Display port 1.4 cable, to connect the 4K monitor at 120Hz.

Does anybody have experience with this set-up and what would be the best cable to buy.

Thanks a lot,
Geert

I don't have experience with it, but it seems like such cables are easy to find on Amazon. This one, which I found randomly, is 4K @240Hz.
