Because it uses the dock connector instead of headphone jack sonnet claims it will have superior sound quality, I'll have to hear it to believe it though as the problem I had with other transmitters was bad reception.

I had the Griffin iTrip for my 2nd Gen iPod, but when I upgraded to a 3rd Gen Dockable, I didn't bother getting an iTrip. It was just such a hassle to use with having to navigate to a different playlist just to operate the thing. Ssame reason I'm not even considering the iTalk. I like that this one has the controls physically on the device. For $100 though, I'll just stick with the tape adapter I already have.
