Sonnet sata E4P for mac pro?

Hi I wanna install Sonnet sata E4P to my mac pro 8 and connect 4 external sata drives. Can I just use a G5 case to store the 4 external drives? The Empty G5 case will only have 4 drives and a fan.

The E4P works great, as advertised.

I can't imagine why you would store 4 drives in a huge case. There are lots of cheap 4 bay enclosures.

Also, remember that not using a port multiplier is slightly faster.
