We're very close to Black Friday, and as more and more sales pick up, today we're tracking a new discount event being held at Sonos. For its Black Friday offerings, you can get 20 percent off select products on the Sonos website through November 28.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Sonos. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

Specifically, the sale has six of Sonos' audio devices at 20 percent off, including two soundbars, a subwoofer, and three speakers. All of these sales can be found on the Sonos website and you don't need any coupon codes to see the discounts.

Anyone looking to purchase the Sonos Move should note that this accessory will be discounted by 20 percent on Cyber Monday. It'll be priced at $319, down from $399 for that day only, so be sure to return to the Sonos sale on Cyber Monday if you're interested.

You can find all the Apple Black Friday Deals currently available in our dedicated post. For everything else, we're keeping track of all of the season's best Apple-related deals in our Black Friday roundup, so be sure to check back throughout the month for an updated list of all the most notable discounts you'll find for Black Friday 2022.

Probably because they are so focused on one thing, Sonos makes high-quality speakers that work great with the Apple ecosystem while retaining rich flexibility to work with pretty much everything else too. I purchased an Arc solely for music playback (yes, prob overkill) and am very impressed with the quality of sound from it. I also purchased a Move and it too produces great sound from a relatively small package.

While I am typically air playing from my own music playlists, I also enjoy the dedicated Sonos streaming radio stations, Pandora and some TuneIn stations. It's nice to have many choices and the flexibility to use many more.

Exactly the sentiment in my household. Great sound for the price/package, pretty seamless interface, and plays nicely with others. Gus Fring as the voice assistant is a fun bonus, and it works much better than the others for playing music.

We use the Alexa feature to add things to the shopping list and check weather etc. But we use Sonos for the music requests. Excellent chance to have options of things that work well for their particular uses.

I live in small condo. I pair first generation Beam with a full sized HomePod when listening to music, seamless and sounds great.

No, a sound bar is NOT overkill for playing music. In fact it’s one of the worst possible ways of listening to music (or watching films for what matters). Do yourself a favour: sell it and get yourself a decent pair of speakers and a receiver. Your ears will thank you.

Thanks, I have fantastic, dedicated speakers + quality Receiver for my main listening area. Arc was for a bedroom vs. say HomePod-type speakers. I’m perfectly happy with that choice for that purpose. When I want max quality, I simply change rooms.

But I 100% agree with your core idea of chasing exceptional quality when buying speakers... and that sound bars are generally NOT that.

That shared, of all the sound bars I’ve ever heard first hand, this Arc is a dazzler.

These are definitely great deals. The Arc is a steal for that price. The Move is also worth it for Cyber Monday.

While not many people discuss it, the sonos voice assistant triggered by saying Hey Sonos works really well for what it aims to do. It is much faster than similar music-oriented Alexa commands and processed entirely on one’s device.

I’m a bit sad to see people interested in Sonos stuff because it’s admittedly more expensive than just have a look to the second-hand market, you can find better value for an amp & speakers.

Yeah audiophiles are crazy with their bionic ears but they tend to take good care of their stuff. Just have a look to compare or even better, listen.

Try to find someone in the Sonos subreddit selling 50% off employee coupons. I bought one for $50 and saved $824 on an Arc and sub.

I used to have Sonos years ago. Looking back, I'm confused that I did it just to save some money.
Today, I can use my AppleWatch or an iPad to run through my song lists that are then all synchronized with several HomePods set up in different rooms and places. This can not work so well with Sonos, even Apple has needed time that this now runs really well. As usual, MacRumors is a street vendor / affiliate partner for goods that are OK, but do not have perfect system performance, which Apple is working hard on.

Many feel triggered by price discounts. Discounts are also available these days at Apple....

pity they don’t do multiroom amplifiers.
Will have to make my Denon HEOS drive Airplay2 capable with a couple of RPIs.

yes HomePods are great, but if you have speakers in the wall you are stuck.

Denon offered something for that market (HEOS drive, link and Amp) with great sound quality but they screwed the app and don’t support Airplay.

I invested in some of the first Sonos speakers that were released many years ago. Luckily, I was able to purchase and connect a single Sonos ONE speaker to my set-up giving all of my old speakers new compatibility. They still sound great! I wish the Sub Mini was on sale. That will be my next purchase.

Glad Apple Homepods work for your application but you're comparing apples to oranges here. The original Homepod speaker is great but it's nowhere as great as a full combo of Sonos speaker set-up in every room. Also, the Sonos app works with itunes/music and can play all your content and playlists.

Earlier this year I bought a full surround sonos system (arc+sub+2x one sl). It is expensive but seamless. I'm sure some audiophile will "well comma askshully" the quality of the system but I think it is fantastic.

Haha, but part of the fun for me is setting everything up!

Please note that if you use an Apple TV as your source (or an Xbox), Sonos has a long-running issue with Atmos. Eventually you will get a loud pop and the center channel will cut out. Power cycling the center channel will bring sound back. Once you've the first occurrence, it will keep happening within half an hour of putting on any Atmos content.

The problem has been acknowledged by Sonos. They advise to turn Atmos off if you use Apple TV or Xbox. We are hoping to eventually get a fix. You can read all about it here:
