My wife has a new Sony Clie TH55, which has built in WiFi (b version). It can access our wireless network (AE Base Station) when I make the network public (not "closed), turn off encryption (normally use 128 bit WEP) and do not require a password. When I turn on all of these security features, the Clie cannot access the network even when I enter the SSID and password into the Clie's WiFi software. It simply times out.

Anyone have any thoughts about what might be wrong? Thanks in advance for any comments!

BTW - This is an amazing PDA. Comes darn closing to replacing a laptop for many things, and the camera function works very well. If anyone is in the market for a nice PDA, you must check this one out. Of course, if you need a PDA that will access your security-enabled WiFi network...
