I love this camera, great pictures and movies. However, not sure if they are compatible with iMac computers. When I email a mpeg, no sound. And I'm also having difficulty with mpegs in iPhoto when trying to import to iMovie. Any suggestions, or help would be appreciated.

What kind of MPEGs are you dealing with, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG-4 Video etc.? All MPEG files are compatible with Mac. How big is the file you are emailing? Are you opening it on a PC or Mac? Some more information would be great!

I'm using iPhoto on an iMac. On the camera I use the smallest size to email. I believe they are MPEG-4. Also, now I can't get the MPEG'S to import into iMovie. I'm just curious to know if the small vids shot with the camera are worth using to use in email or iMovie.

I am having the same problem. The little videos show up in iPhoto, but will not import into iMovie. Were you able to solve this problem? Thanks.
