Sony DCR-HC28 and Tiger Update

Hey Yall :)

After I updated my system (older intel G5) to the new Tiger 10.4.10 - I can no longer use my Sony Handycam DCR-HC28 as a webcam. I was able too with Panther 10.3.9

I guess might have an older firewire cable. But it works fine with iMovie. Any thoughts or suggestions?
