Hey guys, maybe you have an idea what I should do...
I upgraded a Quicksilver to a DVD-burner from SONY (DWU-10A), it's natively supported by Mac OS X 10.2.6 and in general it was Plug&Play, BUT:
It burns DVDs just fine even DVD+Rs with Toast. It burns DVD-Rs with 4x speed, but it only reads any DVD with 2x speed. I tried different DVDs to check if it was a problemn with only one specific DVD, but it was always the same, just 2x speed.
Has anybody an idea WHY that is and HOW to solve that problem? Because after trying everything, I am kinda lost now and I would prefer to have 8x speed for reading (like specs of the drive claim).
