My husband uses Final Cut Pro for video editting and loves it. We are having a problem with some video though. Friends recorded on their Sony Handycam HDR-UX1 and finalized the CD. We can play it on our G4, however, we haven't figured out how to download it so we can edit it into other footage we have. In reading here, I am going to try HandBrake, however, I am wondering what type I should have it output to so that Final Cut Pro will recognize it without distorting it. Any ideas? Anyone have a process for doing this?
