Is anyone else experiencing issues with their iPhone 4's and their sony alarm clocks?

My alarm clock will only charge my iPhone 4 to 80%...

really?? I have the same model.... it will ONLY charge my phone to 80% then stop...

I've got the Sony iPhone Alarm Clock and it charges my iPhone fully so no complaints here.

However, before I got my iPhone 4 I was still using the iPhone 2G and for some reason it stopped charging in the dock a year or so ago, but would charge everywhere else. But my wife's iPhone 3G would still charge in the dock so who knows.

I've got the Sony ICF-CD3IPSIL and no issues so far with iPhone 4. Just make sure you are putting it on the dock carefully (not carelessly fast).

hmmm same thing last night... I put it on, made sure it's squarely on and secure... at 80% the fully charged symbol comes up... however it is not 100% charged...

No problems here... try resetting the alarm and also resetting the phone.

What annoys me is I can hear a slight static hiss when I bring my ear close to the alarm clock.

hmm are you guys leaving your phones off or on??

I tried again last night to charge the phone.. it stopped at 84%... I removed it from the charger... placed it back on and it charged up to 100%...

so I'm not sure if it's because i'm charging it with the phone off or what's going on...

I can't remember the model on mine, but it charges no problem, screen on or off, phone on or off, every night as asked. Heck, it's even kind enough to pick Rammstein to wake me up this morning :)

hmmm... So it appears as if my phone will charge to 100% if it is "asleep"... will test tonight to see if it will fully charge now when turned off.

hmm.. now that I've tried it for a few nights...

if my phone is docked and turned off it will charge to a random % and stop charging (when phone is turned on while docked the battery indicator shows that it is plugged in but not charging).

if my phone is docked and turned on it will charge 100% ....
