It appears that Sony is giving away Ipods in a contest . I guess it doesnt mean too much except that Sony and Apple have a little something going. Whats ironic is that the giveaway is due june 22.. You have to be a part of their S.H.A.P.E. program or something. I just got the email cause i am in it and i get to beta test things from time to time.

Interesting, Sony Ericcson has a new bluetooth MP3 player that seemlessly interfaces with some of their phones (stops with call so you can talk using wireless earpiece, resumes when call ends) whose release is imminent. I figure they may show it at WWDC with iTunes support.

I dont have an ipod :( soon though! I finally saw the new ones in person. it made me feel so happy to be a nerd.

Actually, I think that Sony Ericsson and SONY are two different companies. I'm pretty sure they are, Sony Ericsson doesn't even use the SONY logo on anything.

right you are there buddy. Its a joint venture company. Something like they both got half and half or something on the company. I am not too sure. I just think sony owns enough of it, and they do enough work with deving up mobile phones, etc. that it garnishes their name.
