How come Sony LCDs are shiny? It appears they don't have an antiglare coating, or they have some sort of plastic sheet covering it up?

Actually I've noticed this same thing on most of the LCDs on PC laptops. Its really shiny. Then I compare my PowerBook and realize it looks a little duller. But on my Apple Cinema Display, it has a very strong anti-glare coating.

Could be Sony doesnt use any antiglare coating, and instead opt for polarized glass.
