The reason I've put this in the hardware section is that I think my problem may relate to the camcorder...

Basically I tried doing the funky video conference thing with iChat AV using my digital camcorder but it kept coming up with a "not enough bandwidth" error. So I tried switching the camera from 'camera' to 'memory' mode (which is the way it records mpeg movies) but the same problem resulted.

I've got a DSL connection so that can't be the problem and I even tried reducing the bandwidth limit in preferences, right down to 100! Hmmm...

Any ideas why it won't work for me? The Apple site says that Digital video cameras should work, and mine is very mainstream...

Chuck.

No, my sister (across the other side of Australia) has a 2002 powerbook, a DSL connection and OS X 10.2.6

Everything seems like it should work, but it doesn't... Has anyone else tried using their camcorders with iChat AV and had it work?

Chuck.
