Hi Guys

Not really iTunes or iPod related, but does anyone know if any of the current range of flash based Sony players are Mac compatible? I'm kinda hoping they'll just mount as a standard flash drive and files can just be dragged to them, but I've heard some horror stories about the rings one has to run to transfer files...

This isn't for me by the way (I'm a long time iPodder), but my sister-in-law is going away tonight and needs a quick buy of a WMA compatible player that she can drag her songs onto (which are sitting backed up on my PowerBook after her last 'cheap' player developed a nasty squeal).

Would something like Thrupp work? I've never used it, but it looks nice. It converts AAC to .mp3 for every song in your library (except for the purchased music).

Edit: It has to appear as a drive in Finder for Thrupp to work.

Thanks.

Luckily (and I can't believe I'm saying this), she bought a Creative MuVo, which means she was just able to drag the backed up WMA's from the Finder to the mounted flash drive. I save the day again...
