So I have seen some recent threads inquiring about having external GPU's for docking usage and using the thunderbolt port to transfer the data. The general consensus has been that thunderbolt still cant handle the load but that light peak can.
Well it appears that Sony has decided to actually do this and make it a part of its production line of ultra portable laptops.

Its to bad that they made the connector proprietary, Sony must be taking the Steve Jobs/Apple approach.
Just imagine if this set up becomes popular, we could some day have MacBook Air's with high end GPU's!
