I'm considering getting an Iphone 3G in a couple months. But before I make that commitment, I have a few questions:

1. Can I run Safari and a streaming music app like pandora or aol radio at the same time, so i can surf and listen at the same time?

2. Can I edit word or excel docs? If not, can I buy an app that would permit me to do that?

3. I heard the battery wears out quickly when using 3G or Wifi. Is there a portable battery I could get to extend usage time?

4. Is there a website on Safari or an app I can download to view flash videos on Iphone 3g? Non-hacking workaround?

5. Can I listen to streaming music on Edge? Is it great, good, or poor quality?

6. If I see a webpage or document on Iphone 3G, can I hook up the Iphone 3G to a printer w an adapter cable of some sort?

Any advice is appreciated!!

No.

2. Can I edit word or excel docs? If not, can I buy an app that would permit me to do that?
No.

There's juice packs you can buy for like $49 which you can connect to your phone while on the run. http://gizmodo.com/5026473/extending-the-life-of-your-iphone-3g-with-battery-packs

4. Is there a website on Safari or an app I can download to view flash videos on Iphone 3g? Non-hacking workaround?
No way to view flash yet.

5. Can I listen to streaming music on Edge? Is it great, good, or poor quality?
Depends on where you live and how much speed you are getting.
6. If I see a webpage or document on Iphone 3G, can I hook up the Iphone 3G to a printer w an adapter cable of some sort?
Nope.

Any advice is appreciated!!

Hopefully this will help.
