I think the base model is good enough for me but I would like the 16GB ram upgrade. however, i don't want to wait and want to pick it up in store right away!!
 
store may have upgraded versions! hope they do for your sake =]
 
$500 for 256GB more storage

or

$500 for better CPU, more RAM, and TB-to-GigE adapter

I picked the latter.
