Sophos Antivirus: Uninstall on MBP, Restart, Still Installed?

I installed Sophos Antivirus on my MBP after I read an article about it saying it was free.

A couple hours later I uninstalled it. Then for some reason it keeps appearing on my computer (installed). I'm pretty sure I deleted everything. I used AppCleaner(?) to uninstall Sophos and its files.

I'm new to the Mac world. Any help would be great.

doesn't sophos include it's own uninstaller? It should and you might try re-installing and then use the sophos uninstaller.

Programs like AppCleaner don't often do a good job of uninstalling apps, they mostly work by getting rid of files created by the app.
