Sorbet Leopard Issue

Hey guys just had a quick question…there is a plus edition of sorbet that adds an updated mail client built on safari 11 and it works flawless but for some reason when I check the box to save the password to keychain it never saves and when I close and reopen it asks for my password every time I launch…anyone run into this?…I kept the old version of mail by simply changing the name to Mail_Old so copying the newer version into the application folder didn’t wipe out and fully replace the original mail. Like I said I can receive email and send no problem but I’ve tried yahoo…hotmail….outlook email….iCloud none of the passwords are saving to keychain resulting in me having to input the passwords every time I launch mail. Thanks for clarity you guys can provide!!!!!

I think I had the same issue with it. I just stuck with the older version of Mail. The only account I can send and receive from is iCloud. Yahoo only worked with outgoing mail and there is no way to get Gmail to work anymore as far as I know.

The way I accessed my gmail on my pmg5 running sorbet was using a html gmail inside a ITB box (like tff boxes but for interweb ppc - called In the box available at macintoshgarden.org).

Thanks for following up I kinda figured…just used tenfourbird and it runs perfectly fine for email. Thank youuuuu!
