ok, I am running 1.1.3 and I bought the apps.

I've noticed that neither my clock or my calender will stay correct.
Sometimes, I notice one or the other is wrong after a sync or after me wakeing it up.

Also, safari crashes a lot. It will not recognize touch commands anywhere but on the address line.....then not at all....then it just quits.

If anyone has any info, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Thats very strange.
Mostly the fact that it wont respond to Touch commands.

I definitely would email Apple, or call, stating your problems.
Maybe you could get a replacement.

I had the same time and date problems right after I updated to 1.1.3 and bought the apps. I just re-synced it when I noticed the problem and it was corrected. If problems persist, try restoring it.
Also, I've noticed that if you connect the iPod to different computers, the time and date get messed up sometimes so if that is the case, try sticking to one computer.

I've re-sync'd and restored...and I only sync to my vista laptop. I do, however, have more than one iPod syncing to that laptop. My husband has been syncing his iPod to it as well. Do you think that is the problem?

This is my first iPod, so I don't have a lot of experience to fall back on.

I will send them an email. I don't think its a hardware issue because as soon as safari quits... everything works as expected again.

Thanks for the responses.

Yeah, me too. And I'm right now working at a 100% Apple iPod touch, no hacks, nothing. I'm scared to call up Apple because I called them when my Apps weren't downloading so they credited my account back the $20. Now, the Apps are working.

Technology these days...:p
