sorry. macbook spill

i know this is annoying and im sure asked frequently.

i spilled water onto my 2006 late version macbook pro. I've had it this long and took care of it like a baby. then one stupid mistake.

i quickly dried it off, turned it over, turned it off, took a hairdryer to it, and turned it back. WORKS PERFECT!

But I feel like the worst is yet to come. What can I expect. If nothing happened to it, should it be okay for now.

Please, I need answers. =[
