I've been cleaning up my iTunes library, retagging files so that the artist who created the album will be the 'Sort Artist' field.

I was spurred to do this when I finally got around to importing Timbaland's album and he had 3 or 4 different "featured" artists on each track. So, every track was listed as a different artist in iTunes, meaning that a song by "Timbaland" would be a different artist than a song by "Timbaland featuring Justin Timberlake".

So, by using "Sort Artist", I make Timbaland the artist iTunes files the entire album and each track by, even though "Featuring Justin Timberlake" still shows up in the artist field.

So, here's the rub. It works perfectly in iTunes 8. I mean, it's so nice. My grid layout (My new favorite way to view my albums, sorry Coverflow.) looks so nice and clean now. However... it doesn't carry over to Front Row. Front Row still looks like I loaded the artists into a shotgun and fired at the wall.

Is there any way to get Front Row to group albums by the sort artist rather than what is typed in the artist field?
